Explanation of the columns

Time...

The hourly or half-hourly time is indicated here. This applies from the displayed time to the next line.

Example: For 11 a.m., this applies from 11 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 11:29 a.m. for half-hourly evaluation.

Number of transactions or customers

This column shows the number of customers in the shop at that time and their order.

Depending on the setting, a transaction can automatically correspond to one customer or the number of customers entered via the POS.

You can store this setting in the options of the report Daily turnover and customer numbers.

Example: (table booking) A guest sits down at a table at 11:45 a.m. and orders his drink for € 3.50 around 12:10 p.m. another drink for € 3.50 and pays at 1:05 p.m..

Thus, the report will show a customer or transaction for both 11am and 12pm.

Number of transactions or customers (arithmetic mean)

Here you can see the actual number of customers.

In our example, half a customer is in the shop at 11am and half a customer is in the shop at 12pm, making it one customer in total.

Staff hours

This column shows the employees' clocked-in hours at that time.

The display starts with the first booking and includes all stamped times at that time, i.e. also employees who have not booked.

Example: A waitress and a kitchen assistant clocked in at 09:00 until 15:00.

The first booking took place at 11:45 a.m. therefore the time shown by both staff members is 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Turnover...

The turnover column shows the turnover booked in the specified hour.

Average per transaction or customer

Here the turnover is calculated by the number of transactions or customers.

Average per transaction or customer (arithmetical mean)...

The calculation is turnover divided by the number of transactions or customers arithmetic mean

Productivity per hour...

The calculation is turnover divided by employee hours.

Please note that in the half-hourly evaluation, the staff hours differ, as it is not automatically the full hour but the time of the item booking that is relevant. Here, the booking was made at 11:45 a.m., so only the working time from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. is shown here. The second booking took place at 12:10 and is therefore included in the column from 12:00 to 12:30.
