Operator lock Balance, Plain, Shape

Two different operator locks are used with these cash register models.

Operator lock version recognition and set-up

In the Windows device manager, the connected operator lock is displayed depending on the version:

• Operator lock without card reader as multi-IO device (COM5)

• Operator lock with magnetic card reader as Nuvoton Virtual Com Port (COM7)

If the connected operator lock does not function as desired, a Hypersoft configuration must be installed directly in the lock. There are 2 programmes (tools) on the desktop of the devices for this purpose:

• Operator lock without card reader

• Operator lock with magnetic card reader

The configuration can be imported via the Import button in the respective tool. Both tools support a different configuration format cfg/rcf and thus cannot be accidentally imported in the wrong operator lock. The configuration files are stored under C:_HS-Setups\Aures Operator lock on the cash register separately for the operator lock with and without magnetic card reader.
