1. The optimal operating system
The Hypersoft // system requires the Microsoft Windows operating system and either Android or Apple iOS for variants of the mobile POS system. On our POS terminals, we optimise the configuration of the operating system according to the known requirements.

*1 = The Windows .NET Framework The .Net Framework (spr. dotnet), is a Microsoft component that sets new standards for advanced program development. is already required for components such as Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen and NoCOO. Through further development, this framework becomes an absolute requirement. Version 4.7 is also compatible, but no longer the standard.
To recognise the Windows version, enter the command WINVER under Run for all Windows versions.
Among other things, the Windows .Net Framework 3.5 is also required. The .Net Framework 4.8 is not an update (to 3.5), but a supplement to the .Net Framework 3.5, which is required independently of other frameworks.
Please note that the Hypersoft setup already requires Framework 3.5. Therefore, please install the Framework 3.5 before the Hypersoft Setup, otherwise the programme start of the POS system may not be executed.

When installing on a Windows server that is not permanently maintained, you should set Windows Updates to download only when prompted, not automatically.
Third-party devices and self-configured operating systems
We are interested in you choosing who your IT supplier is and we have been working with our clients' various contractors for decades. There are even certain constellations where we attach great importance to our own IT staff and special on-site services, especially when these are faster and closer than our services. Likewise, our desire to supply Hypersoft hardware is driven by the same idea, namely to push for smooth cooperation, which as a software manufacturer is always dependent on the quality of the hardware and infrastructure.
There are countless variants and combinations for configuring Windows PCs, Windows servers and networks. Surely you can understand that we only test a certain standard here, which is also compatible in 99% of cases. However, we do not wish to be held responsible if our programmes do not operate faultlessly in a basic environment created by you, for example, if our programmes do not start or are otherwise delayed or blocked. If such situations occur, we will, at our own discretion, search for the error and also stop troubleshooting. Then we can agree on further troubleshooting steps together.

If our programmes cannot be started on your server, PC or operating system or are blocked, we recommend that you configure your own servers, computers and network components to comply with the standards and then commission us to install Hypersoft. After the installation, you can carry out the necessary special configurations and installations and test the Hypersoft programmes again. If there is any incompatibility, we will work together to find a solution.
