Define Order Variants

Each item that is to be ordered automatically or manually requires an order variant. Optionally, you can enter and use several variants. You can enter several different order variants for an item, which are then applied to the same or different suppliers. For example, you buy cheaply from one supplier in pallets, but you don't always need that much, so another supplier with boxes can then be cheaper. An order variant is defined by the order unit (e.g. "6-bottle crate") and the vendor.

In the case of manual purchase orders or subsequent processing of automatic purchase orders, all stored order variants for an item are displayed. From the order variants offered, you can select the variant that appears most advantageous for the current order transaction. You can define order variants in the item master in the Stock Management area Please see the Theme Order Variants in the Stock Managementsection.
