The Hypersoft Kitchen Display 21.5 inch or 54.6 cm screen diagonal is the ideal size for a touchscreen in the kitchen (the unit is also available in 32.0 inch or 82 cm diagonal on request). Optionally, you can also control the appliance with the Kitchen Bump Bar.
The professional appliance has been equipped with a fully sealed metal housing to easily withstand the demands of rough everyday kitchen use. Thus, it always works flawlessly even in hot and steamy environments such as near a wok (as long as it does not generally overheat). Under these conditions, you will receive a 36-month guarantee for the device from us.
After 36 months, such a device should be replaced for standard use in a harsh environment. However, if the conditions allow the unit to continue to be used for a few more years at best for reasons of sustainability and the environment, then a reserve unit should be stored on site from then on at the latest, which can be replaced remotely with our team in an emergency. It is always more important to avoid an unplanned breakdown than to save on replacing an important piece of equipment. Because a failure of this kind stresses employees and your customers.
However, to ensure that things can continue with a monitor less well in an emergency, we have integrated the Kitchen Monitor Emergency Operation, which the staff should be trained to use at least once.

To ensure that you enjoy the appliance for as long as possible, no abrasive or corrosive cleaners should be used. Standard cleaners suitable for such surfaces can be used without any problems. Unfortunately, practice has shown that the use of a scouring pad or even a steel sponge destroys the touchscreen. Inform and train your staff on proper cleaning for a long time of use of the equipment. In some cases, it has worked well to place cling film over the touchscreen at the start of the shift, but do not wrap it, as it needs to cool passively.

The display contains a high-quality computer, which has been designed to work without a fan and to dissipate heat via the housing. Please make sure that no other heat sources heat up the unit. The ideal temperature is 25 to 40°C , but this unit can also be used from 0 to 50°C. If this range cannot be adhered to, a shorter replacement interval or the provision of replacement equipment can be agreed.

Pivoting arms and resistance to emissions are exemplary here. However, practice has also shown that careless panning, directly over a gas flame, will eventually lead to melting or destruction of the unit and can also cause a short circuit. Therefore, with swivel arms, pay attention to aggressive emission sources such as flames and limit the possible swivel radius accordingly.
