arrangement
An arrangement (combo or bundle) is an item consisting of at least two items for sale. In most cases, the aim is to make the buyer an attractive offer by merging at one price.
Example: Item A costs 6.90 and Item B 2.60. Both are sold together for a total of 6.50 (which is a difference to the unit price of 3.00). At the checkout there is only one item for this offer.
In Report Manager reporting, you receive an evaluation that shows you the arrangements sold and the difference between the price of the arrangement and the retail sale. The Difference sales price field has a different function for arrangements (because you cannot set up a price change for arrangements with this field). You can store the average sales price there. This is used in the Arrangement Report of the Report Manager to determine the price difference. The sales of the arrangement are posted to the merchandise category that is directly assigned to the arrangement.
A special feature here is that you can insert items into arrangements that themselves contain component lists.
Special features of the Arrangements...
An arrangement can contain queries like recipes. However, the possible queries of sales items contained are not taken into account. Also the sales price cannot be changed by included queries. Contained sales items which contain queries themselves are thus booked as if they did not contain any queries. None of the items contained there via a query are booked here, whereas components contained without queries are booked. So if you want to use an arrangement with a query, these must be set up in the arrangement itself. Arrangements only participate as individual items in the delayed receipt control and the Kitchen Display. The preparation times of the items contained therein cannot be taken into account.
Arrangements can be printed on the invoice including the contained sales items. The option RG (On account) must be activated for this. The item receipt text 1 is used for printing. The sales items involved are indented and displayed without a unit price.
Arrangements are not supported by mPOS, CLOU-Mobile for Windows and CLOU MOBILE for Orderman.
