If you accept different currencies, you can use this cash register function to enter the incoming payment of the foreign currency. Example: Your main currency is Euro and the customer bought goods for 100 Euro. The customer now gives you USD 100,-. You enter 100 and press Currency USD so that the payment amount is converted into your currency. Then you can trigger the payment macro as usual (BAR button). At the checkout you will now automatically be shown the change in Euro.

In order for you to be offered the corresponding dynamic checkout function for foreign currencies such as USD, they must have a corresponding entry in the currency table.
