Automatic-Termination-Info

If you do not have the option to perform a day-end closing (24-hour operation), you can set a time that is set as the closing time. This inserts an information into the database, but it does not replace the functions possibly performed with a day-end closing, such as:

  • Export booking data
  • Transfer sales to the cash journal
  • Complete operations automatically

On the System tab in the POS Settings programme group, select the Automate Daily Closing programme.

If you want to set up the automation termination, then you must access the program via the Settings button here. Since you can use either Auto Close or Automation Close, the Settings button is locked once you have set a station to Active.

Under Available tills you get a list of all tills of your network. You can activate this by activating Active and then store a time which is entered in the database as the completion time. The /TTAClosed The theoretical end of day (TTA) applies the calendar day change at a time specified by you (default setting 6:00 a.m.). The programme can automatically perform closures, updates and maintenance at this time. A new sales day then begins with the first POS booking of the day. is displayed above the list.

Important instructions for use...

If you use this function and do not use manual or automatic day-end closing, no actions are executed that are to be performed automatically together with the day-end closing. For example, in this variant no booking data is transferred to the cash book .

If the Hypersoft POS programme is not actively running on the cashier station with these settings, then the daily closing for the station in question will not be marked. This will then be done at the next POS start. Normally, this function is only used at stations that are permanently in operation.
