Google Maps API key

In order to be able to display your locations in the app or in Webshop 2.0, and so that your company can benefit from real-time data and descriptive location information, we need your Google Maps API key in advance. As a prerequisite, you need a Google account to apply for this API key.

If you do not have a Google Account, you can register on the following website: https://accounts.google.com/signup. Follow the instructions on the website there.

Log in if you have not already done so. You do this by going to www.google.de and there are the following 2 situations you can find:

1. you are not logged in, if there is a login button in the upper right corner

Select Maps:

Carry out your registration (if you are not yet logged in):

Select and name your project:

Maintain your accounting data:

Afterwards you activate your API's:

Here you get your API-Key which you should note down or copy to tell us:

After activation you will find yourself in the overview and select the menu item API's:

Here you can see the standard list of activated API's.

The following API's are required:

Google API	YourAPP (Web shop)	Route planning
Geocoding API	yes	no
Maps JavaScript API	yes	yes
Maps Static API	yes	yes
Maps Directions API	no	yes

 

 

As soon as we have stored your Google Maps API key in the app, it will be able to access your locations. This gives the user an overview of your stores and additional options, such as the route planner to navigate more easily to the desired location:
