Integration of Alipay+ with Hypersoft and Adyen

In cooperation with Adyen, Hypersoft enables the acceptance of Alipay+ as a payment method at your POS. The prerequisite for this is that the terminals used at the POS have at least software version 1.103 installed. If this requirement is met, please contact Hypersoft Support to have Alipay+ activated for your business.

Difference between Alipay and Alipay+...

Alipay and Alipay+ are both payment services provided by the Ant Group. However, they differ in their areas of application and functions:

Alipay:

Alipay is a comprehensive mobile payment system and digital wallet that is widely used mainly in China. It enables users to make payments, send and receive money, pay bills, make online purchases and use various financial services. The main target groups are Chinese consumers and companies.

Functions:

Mobile payments in-store and online.
Management of invoices and finances.
Integration with various services such as transport, catering and retail.
Use of QR codes for fast transactions.

Alipay+:

Alipay+ is a cross-border payment platform that integrates various digital payment systems and wallets from different countries. It was developed to connect global merchants and consumers and enable seamless payments across borders. The target groups here are therefore international merchants (you) and consumers (your customers) who wish to make payments via various payment systems and wallets.

Functions:

Support for multiple payment methods and wallets worldwide, such as GCash, KakaoPay, Touch 'n Go eWallet and more.
Seamless integration for merchants to accept payments from various international customers.
Simple and secure cross-border transactions.
Extending the reach of retailers through access to a broader customer base.

In summary, Alipay is mainly designed for the domestic market in China and offers a wide range of financial services, while Alipay+ aims to standardise and simplify international payment services by integrating various regional payment methods into a single platform.
