With Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen, you have the advantages of two technical market leaders on your side. For the performance comparison, see the section Payment provider functions with Hypersoft Pay.

With this variant, Hypersoft also takes care of the payment terminals and their support:

  • They have "always working payment terminals" and of course we only use equipment that meets the highest standards here too. If a technical malfunction should occur that we cannot solve remotely, we use our advantageous RMA service. Our support staff will then help you with the replacement and we will simply have defective devices picked up.
  • A single clearing centre combines payment terminals and eSolutions Payment (without the usual "high online surcharges").
  • The moment of payment is highly emotional - together, Adyen and Hypersoft turn payments into an attraction for guests and employees. Have a look at the history of the origins of Adyen

  • Hypersoft Pay uses the synergies from working with you at the point of sale. Therefore these services are available exclusively for our Hypersoft customers.

Advantageous integration of payment terminals into your workflow...

You need payment terminals in your business whose bookings (also required by law in Germany) are booked congruently in the POS system in a timely manner. It must be possible to book tips without losing track of the situation. If you have a full-service concept, of course it all has to work smoothly at the table - preferably with Hypersoft Pay@Table.

For many, paying is already emotional enough - you can destroy a previously positive impression within a very short time with clumsy solutions and problems. Some examples that everyone knows from practice:

  • "Unfortunately, I am not allowed to accept tips by card."

  • "I'm afraid you can't pay separately by card, can't you solve this among yourselves?"

  • And the classic "payment terminal not working today" (which is also improvised here and there by the "low-tipping operator").

If you do not support Apple Pay in the future, you are ignoring the interests of your guests. If you are dealing with tourists, you will need Alipay (and WeChat etc.) as soon as possible.

Your payment options should ideally be unobtrusively visible to all guests as they enter the establishment or on the menu - this has even been proven to help increase sales noticeably.

For webshops and eSolutions, the more different payment methods you support, the better. Especially with rarer methods, they flatter those who want to use them. If you want to be successful with more than just cash, be sure to offer voucher sales. But by no means like this: "Vouchers only against cash here in the restaurant, please!" Each of your employees should be able to sell vouchers securely and in addition they should offer vouchers online.

Conclusion: The solution is to offer all payment methods in demand in all areas and then to pay out these payments to you via one and the same service provider in a way that is easy for your accounting department to understand and with low fees.

Adyen support and onboarding with supplier language...

    Some of our partners work internationally in such a way that they use local partners such as Hypersoft (sometimes exclusively, sometimes at a certain level) to communicate with customers. Hypersoft then creates German-language documentation (which is also translated into English for the English Hypersoft programme version) and offers German support as part of the Hypersoft support concept. With an expanded agreement, Hypersoft also offers English-language support. This allows you to remain and communicate largely in the Hypersoft standard during regular operation.

    During onboarding and also during the subsequent use of the respective product, you may "have to" contact these suppliers. In this case, please note that these suppliers usually communicate only in English. (Which should not be a problem for you as a reader of the English translation). In some cases, products from such suppliers, such as settings dialogues and query forms, may not be in German for you. Provided this is then displayed in a web browser, you can help yourself directly with translation functions. However, they should be able to draw on "resources with English skills" in their business when using such products.

Important changes to the Adyen reports that you may have sent to you by the Adyen system

In August and September 2023, Adyen will make changes to the payment-oriented reports to improve reliability and consistency.

Do I need to take any action?...

If you only download the reports manually, no action is required from your side. If you download reports automatically, these changes may cause problems with your data entry pipelines. This is because we are moving away from database-driven Postgres reporting to use our Big Data platform for reporting. For you, this means faster report generation times and higher reporting reliability.

Using new technology to generate reports may result in minor differences; therefore, your automated report pipelines may need to be changed so that reports can continue to be read in as usual. We cannot do this for you as it depends on your internal set-up.

What deadline do I have to observe for this migration?...

It is important to note that this migration must be completed before 22 September 2023. Please note that Adyen cannot extend this deadline any further for technical reasons.

Club payment as a special option

Just briefly, we would like to share our positive experiences that we have had in clubs with their own payment management. You can have your regular guests pay on account in the Hypersoft system, but then you should generate serial debits for partial automation (which are compatible with your bank program), so that you do not have to worry about the surgery administration. All this is done easily and parallel to everything mentioned here with Accounting. A few options: Corporate customers receive monthly bills and collective bills. Regular guests pay only after the next 1. etc.

Payment terminals integration

In all supermarkets, petrol stations and most Quick Service concepts, the payment terminals are connected to the cash register system. Hypersoft supports this and has developed special solutions with many well-known device providers to connect mobile devices to the POS system. Once you have used this technique, you will never want to allow free entry of amounts at the table again!

Restrictions and specifications of the Adyen Payment

Please note the following restrictions and limitations when using Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen:

Hypersoft Pay By Adyen is supplied as standard only to Hypersoft customers with Hypersoft cash registers and only for use in this context.

Basic programs

For the program, the latest version of the Hypersoft Suite should be used. In addition, Windows 10 .NET FrameworkClosed The .Net Framework (spr. dotnet), is a Microsoft component that sets new standards for advanced program development. 4.7 (or better, e.g. version 4.8) must be installed on the device.

If Hypersoft does not administrate your network, please also note port releases etc. according to 4. IP and Port List.

Product ranges of the Hypersoft customer base...

Please note that Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen is intended for the "normal Hypersoft customer base". Sales of untypical goods and services should not take place or should not be in the foreground.

With Hypersoft Pay, you are allowed to sell alcohol and possibly also tobacco in addition to your gastronomic business. It is important in this context that the main business is not the sale of alcohol or tobacco.

If you are a drinks or spirits shop, we will require an alcohol licence from you before entering into the contract. If you do not need such a licence according to the law, we require a signed declaration that you are not affected by this licence obligation and that you also do not need an additional licence. Pure tobacco transactions are not permitted for cooperation with Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen.

Payment terminals without integration into the Hypersoft POS system...

Mobile devices with GSM cards have such weak reception that we are currently not delivering them and are looking for a solution.

Devices without a cash register connection which receive the payment amount in connection with our cash register system by manual input can be supplied by us, unless other conditions speak against it.

Administrators and Installers

The installation and integration of payment terminals shall only be carried out by Hypersoft or experts trained for this purpose.

As an administrator or when working on the network, please note the necessary approvals for Adyen.
