Alipay and WeChat

These are international payment methods with a focus on Asia, which are experiencing particularly strong growth in the tourism sector. Since payment methods always represent a service for your customers, you can only win by offering them.

Alipay and WeChat Onboarding

To do this, specify accordingly in your Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen contract that you want to use these payment methods. If you decide to activate these payment methods after the contract has been concluded, please contact your vendor by e-mail so that they can forward your request to our service team. You will then receive a contract update to sign.

Use Alipay and WeChat

The use of Alipay and WeChat must be activated with Adyen Support and is then available at the terminals.

Procedure of a QR Code payment...

  1. A normal card payment is initiated at the POS.

  2. As soon as the payment is pending at the terminal, the switch Scan is selected.

  3. In the next dialogue at the terminal, there is a choice between Alipay and WeChat.

  4. The QR code displayed on the terminal is scanned by your customer via smartphone and the payment is processed via Adyen.

  5. You will receive the usual payment confirmation (or rejection) at the terminal.
