Virtual Terminal - User Training Manual

The new Virtual Terminal interface replaces the MOTO merchant account at Adyen. This means that transactions via MOTO will no longer be possible from 1 November 2024. You already have the option of using the new Virtual Terminal function. Please proceed as described here:

  • Accessible via authn-live.adyen.com with your login details for the customer area.

  • You need the corresponding user role for Virtual Terminal for your user. To obtain this, please contact our Hypersoft support.

  • Transactions are carried out within a selected merchant account.

  • The store selection step is only available if there are shops in the selected merchant account.

  • The virtual terminal saves the last selected parameters (e.g. currency) for faster data entry during the next operation.

  • As soon as the payment is completed, it appears in the list of transactions on the respective account.

Training - of the user:

  • Log in to the Adyen portal

  • If necessary, select the corresponding account that you want to use for the payment

  • Select Virtual terminal in the main menu, then Create transaction opens below it

When you are asked for a store, select your store. > Continue to transaction details

Under Transaction, you enter the amount, the corresponding country and a reason for payment so that you can allocate the payment later. > Continue to payment details

For Payments, enter the customer's credit card details and confirm with Pay

Confirmation is then issued under Result:

If the result is negative, you have the option of repeating the process.
