Things to note about ePOS Tap2Pay
Assignment of a Tap2Pay-enabled mobile device
When assigning a Tap2Pay-enabled mobile device to a pay station, a message dialogue appears which must be confirmed:
In contrast to payment with the usual Adyen terminals, Tap2Pay does not support cancellation (internal type reversal). When a transaction that was paid with Tap2Pay is reopened, a credit note (internal type Refund) is therefore posted. In contrast to cancellation, this requires credit cards to be read in.
Please make your employees aware of this behaviour.
