What is iCOUPON?

iCOUPON is a system for the digital issuance of meal vouchers, particularly in the context of flight delays or other operational disruptions. Vouchers are issued immediately and digitally to passengers' boarding passes.

The connection allows relevant voucher information to be processed and integrated into the Hypersoft system. Redemption is done digitally, enabling fast and traceable processing.

Supported functions

Currently, iCoupons are supported with a specific amount.

The iCoupons with discount rates cannot be used at present.

Connection to the iCOUPON system

The country and internal prefixes, as well as the voucher assignment, must be set up first. Once the internal prefix for Hypersoft has been set, the remaining input fields in the lower group box become active.

The client ID and API key must be configured under 'Interfaces' in the portal.

You can then use the button in the “Settings from the portal…” dialogue box to access the settings and check that the basic functionality works straight away. The three additional fields – IATA airport code and outlet reference – must be completed separately for each location; these details are provided to the customer individually by iCoupon.

Customers are free to choose the outlet name; this will be carried over when redeeming iCoupons
