Working with delivery command

(Update August 2021: For some time now, Deliverect and Lieferando have been working on improving cooperation and synchronising master data. We hope for an improvement in performance soon).

So far, in coordination with Deliverect, we have to state that in the cooperation between Deliverect and Lieferando, the onboarding of our customers can also take longer than seven weeks from the opening of your Deliverect account. A certain prioritisation of system catering shortens the waiting time there, whereas it can take more than seven weeks for individual establishments. Once established, the connection is stable and extremely useful as we experience in daily practice. In addition to the exclusive communication language English for Deliverect, please take into account the transit times for onboarding our partner company Deliverect and Lieferando. If necessary, especially during this time, will increasingly use their own Hypersoft Webshop, which can be integrated seamlessly and quickly and whose master data they can use for delivery and delivery command integration in addition to the newly learned processes.
Onboarding process (6-8 weeks) for Deliverect with delivery order
The onboarding process at Lieferando for a POS integration is carried out according to the complex conditions there:
- Give your Hypersoft Vendor the necessary information so that he can add you to Deliverect so that you can receive an offer from Deliverect.
- You conclude a contract with Deliverect. You sign it and make the first payment. Deliverect only starts with the integration after the first input input. From this point on, Hypersoft Support will be informed.
- Deliverect carries out test orders and informs you in advance by mail or meeting when they will be carried out.
- Deliverect creates the menu in Deliverect from the item data of your cash register. This is done once during initial setup. The menu data cannot be forwarded digitally to Lieferando, Deliverect only uses them to enable the export of products and queries.
- (For customers in Switzerland and other countries, Deliverect will explain this procedure to you, as the menu is automatically pushed and synchronised with other delivery platforms from your checkout via Deliverect for Uber Eats or Smood).
- You have to wipe the master data between Hypersoft POS and delivery command to a common denominator regarding queries and attachments. All items and queries that are used in the delivery command menu must be available in the POS item master in a congruent manner. In this context, changes to Lieferando are usually necessary, which you as a customer communicate to Lieferando. In this process, additional waiting times may occur because you have to wait again for the release of delivery command (2-3 weeks).
- Your contractual partner Deliverect delivers the export to Lieferando without any guarantee as to when and whether it will be correctly assigned (duration approx. 2-3 weeks).
- You inform Deliverect that the changes have been released, as it may happen that Lieferando does not inform the partner Deliverect about them.
- Deliverect will arrange a start date with you and will communicate this to Lieferando to activate the connection in a coordinated manner.
- Deliverect and you as the customer monitor this "Go Live" and forward this information to all parties involved. Here it should come to a final coordination between Deliverect, Lieferando, Hypersoft and you as customer (duration approx. one week).
Synchronize master data changes
Receiving orders into the Hypersoft POS system from the delivery command portal is a good thing. For this to work, however, the modified items must also be set up by the POS system in delivery command.
In fact Lieferando does not offer good connections and workflows for you as a customer. Market companions (with connections) were bought up "by Lieferando" and existing technical connections were discontinued.
This situation now leads from the partly manual processes forced by delivery command.
- You as a customer create new items in Hypersoft and inform Hypersoft. Hypersoft Support pushes the new item to Deliverect. As a customer you can access the Deliverect backend and view the PLU numbers of Deliverect. If you cannot access the Deliverect Backend please contact our support.
- You contact Lieferando and ask if you are allowed to add these items to the Lieferando menu, in this step you also tell Lieferando the PLU codes of the items.
Delivery command tablet in restaurant possibly critical
We cannot see that the alternative with external tablets preferred by Lieferando is per se compatible with the Kassensicherungsverordnung 2020 in Germany - please ask for a declaration of conformity at Lieferando if required.
