Welcome to our Webshop 2.0 documentation and thank you for your interest in this product. This documentation provides you with the complete range of functions, the set-up and the workflow.

The web shop 2.0 can be used on the desktop, the tablet and on the smart phone. It always adapts to the circumstances, looks like an app on the smartphone and also acts largely like one.

Optionally, you can opt for the extension to your own app (YourAPP), in which case you also receive a native iOS app and a native Android app, both of which are published under your brand name and show your CI and your logos (as does the webshop).

Single Source Data& Multiple Channels

The Hypersoft Shop & Order licences are based on a common foundation. This allows you to inform all systems with one item master and to process orders from all systems via the online order module (separated as a channel) per location.

With the first shop system per location, we take care of the hosting of your data and the availability of your offers for the corresponding channels. The more you use, the easier it all becomes to fit together.

Opportunities for Channels at the Point Of Sale

This example shows how item master data is used in channels to publish offers and receive orders from these channels through the POS system in the location (this also applies in parallel to reservations as can be seen in the graphic below):

Variations of the online shop

Webshop in YourAPP...

If you are already using YourAPP, Webshop 2.0 can be integrated there. Of course, the responsive browser version is also available.

Webshop in the browser...

In the browser version of the shop (instead of the shop in the app or in addition to YourAPP), we provide you with a URL through which your web shop can be accessed. To do this, you create an individual start screen and link your desired content in it. If you use the webshop without YourAPP, you can generally choose between a light and a dark design, which is then supplemented with your accent colours and graphics (with the YourAPP further individual options are available). Please note that it is best practice to use a dedicated URL for your marketing .

The web shop is part of such a link and can thus be presented individually. The webshop can also be used as your only presence on the internet due to the many additional services, but we currently assume a supplement to your existing homepage, on which you link the webshop.

Web voucher shop

There is a separate shop for the sale of web vouchers, which exclusively contains the item "web voucher". This can be ordered with a free amount in the desired quantity. The locations participating in the web voucher system are queried so that the desired location can be selected. You can operate the web voucher shop both separately and in conjunction with the (product) web shop.

The web voucher shop can be operated both within YourAPP and in the browser version.

Restrictions and limitations

Please note the following restrictions and limitations when using the webshop.

Countries & Currencies...

  • From a technical point of view, the webshop can be used across countries as long as these countries use the same currency (e.g. locations in Germany and Austria). Further documentation: Cross-border web vouchers.
  • If you operate locations with different currencies, you would have to set up a separate shop for each currency with the respective locations.
  • Currently the Webshop 2.0 supports the following currencies: EUR, CHF, GBP
  • For the legal use of the webshop we have only considered those countries in which the Hypersoft system is compatible. The same restrictions apply to the webshop as describedin the master information.
  • The maximum number of an item in the shopping cart is limited to 99 pieces.

Locations...

Shop 2.0 requires either a system with one client (only one location), or a master client with several locations. Central clients with different data (such as different item masters) are currently not supported.

The webshop is therefore optimized for use with multiple locations. Especially for brand owners with several locations, all strengths are played out.

Tickets & Vouchers...

Tickets can be conveniently sold via the webshop. We inform you about the possibilities in the chapter Ticketing in the webshop.

Delivery services...

The webshop assumes that you have your own delivery service. External suppliers such as Lieferando can be linked as external links, but they are not directly connected to the webshop. Also a driver and route management is currently not yet implemented.

You have the possibility to use the connection to the deliverect delivery service channel manager also in connection with the web shop.

Allergens & nutritional values...

Allergens and nutritional values are calculated per 100g. A calculation per portion is currently not yet implemented. You have the possibility to store this information in the multifunctional item master and to have it partly applied automatically (in recipes). However, there is only one value per item and allergen/content, which does not change by queries.

Payments and transaction units

Please note that in connection with the webshop transaction units are provided and that eCom Payment also generates running costs (transactions, /scheme fees, discounts, etc.).

Licences for the webshop

The webshop requires some existing licences and can itself be adapted precisely to your needs using different models. View the full information in the eSolutions Webshop and voucher licences section.

Maintenance and Down Time

Maintenance and downtime of the Hypersoft servers

Please understand that our servers from www.myhypersoft.de are not available every first Tuesday of the month between 3:00 and 5:00 due to maintenance and updates.

Maintenance and downtime of your Virtual Machines (VMs)

Due to security updates and maintenance work, we check all customer server VMs on every third Wednesday of the month between 04:00 and 07:00 (every APP or webshop customer has their own VM with us). During this time, your eSolutions may be sporadically unavailable.


Notes for our customers and your users...

If our portal servers are not available for maintenance reasons, but version 1.3.0214, the following notice will be displayed:

This dialogue prevents invalid orders or registrations from being carried out (as these cannot be processed by us or your POS location system in this status).
