Configuring and Using the Pad

To get a request for a signature on a hotel / PMS invoice or a payment to a customer account for the pad, the function must be activated in the station setting. In addition, the desired payment methods must have the Signature option in the currency table: Signature

Installing the hardware...

The SDK must be installed by the manufacturer according to standard specifications. Current: signoPAD-API_8.4.1080_32Bit.exe (not included in Hypersoft Setup). Manufacturer: https://www.signotec.com/download/entwickler-sdk-api-/

Other required DLLs are included in the current Hypersoft system.

Use at Hypersoft POS

If the e-signature PAD switch is set in the station management for the station, a signature is requested on the signature pad for payment methods that have the Signature switch in the currency table.

The operator at the Hypersoft POS sees the request and can observe how the guest signs it:

The guest also has the three control elements New (2 arrows), Cancel (X), Done (hook) on the signature field of the pad. If the guest wants to confirm Done or sign New too early, the operator can also initiate this for him by pressing New at the POS:

If the signature is then executed, it must be checked by the operator at the POS and confirmed as ready with the green tick. The signature is then printed on the form. Example pro-forma invoice for transfer to the hotel PMS interface:

If you press Cancel X in the POS area, the payment process is canceled completely.
