Connection concept

In gastromatic, which is the leading system with regard to employee master data in this interface, the hierarchy of master data is structured as follows:

The Organization (Account) is the top level in Hypersoft. The location (the business) can, depending on the use / specification of the gastromatic master data, correspond to both a location and a sales outlet or profit centre in Hypersoft. The workspace corresponds to the activities in Hypersoft.

In contrast to Hypersoft, the workspace in gastromatic is above the employees and not among the employees like the activities at Hypersoft. The employee master data comparison (synchronization) thus synchronizes the work area with the activities and assigns these to the Hypersoft employees.

At least one location per location/interface must be assigned in the setup of the interface to gastromatic. If the location in gastromatic does not correspond to a location but to a profit center, this location must also be assigned to a profit center in Hypersoft.

Data synchronisation

The time recording data from Hypersoft is immediately checked when clocking in and determined on the basis of the specifications, such as a profit centre, and made available for selection with the locationID unique to it and, if applicable, a duty roster or optionally a work area (activity).

Depending on the basic setting (see picture below), the employee must then stamp on the duty roster from gastromatic or, if no duty roster is specified, stamp on the activity (work area). The time data is immediately transferred to gastromatic and stored locally in Hypersoft with the returned unique ID (PunchtimeID).

If the Hypersoft system is offline (without Internet connection), the time data is saved locally as a precaution and a check is made regularly (every 5 minutes) in the background to see whether the system is ONLINE again (with Internet access) and, if the check is positive, the time data is subsequently transferred to gastromatic. However, it is currently not possible to use a duty roster at a later date.

The interface not only immediately transmits the currently recorded time recording data from Hypersoft, but also checks any recordings made in gastromatic and reports them to Hypersoft. In addition, the interface also checks the employee master data and makes it available to the hypersoft system.

If a "Pre-Hypersoft gastromatic System" (i.e. it was already recorded in gastromatic before a Hypersoft interface times) has long ago data, you can import this time data into Hypersoft after the employee data has been synchronized.

To do this, press the Full adjustment button and select a time in the past from which the time data should be retrieved from gastromatic (imported into Hypersoft).

The currently stored schedule provides for the time data of the current day to be checked every 5 minutes and the time data of the last 31 days to be checked every 15 minutes and synchronised if necessary.

Webclearing Reaction...

Web clearing does not fetch wage types or categories from the head office when gastromatic is used at a location.
