smartSCHANK interface

smartSCHANK is a device that logs goods bookings. The postings coming from the cash register are compared with the withdrawals made at the dispensing system.

This gives you control over the flow of goods.

A dispensing system function with dispensing approvals can be realised via extensions (e.g. release valves). This is how the whole device is constructed, it can only be used as a flow meter and as a complete control unit for the dispensing system.

Basic configuration of the device:

The delivery condition (of the manufacturer Dirmeier) is assumed.

  1. Power the device, it will start automatically.
  2. Press the Start button, the device switches to configuration mode.
  3. It is queried by language, date, time, this should be clear to everyone.
  4. Now the device asks for a module number, this module number is only necessary for a group of devices.
  5. The operating mode of the device is divided into:
    1. Stricter credit mode (only loans can be drawn).
    2. Open credit mode (tapping before the booked item possible) Open credit mode is recommended by Dirmeier, because in this mode the service can be better arranged (the tapper can overdraw his account temporarily - temporary overdraft). This situation is indicated at the smartSCHANK red. Later on, this temporary excess should be cleared with the corresponding cash posting.
    3. Debit mode only (post and settle sales).
  6. Now the "Default waiter" is selected, suitable for "Open credit mode" select here the "Vorzapf Schankkellner". The "default waiter" is always logged in to the device and you do not need a key or code. You can also create several waiters to assign the bookings to them.
  7. Finally a "System Admin" must be created, this has the permissions in the system to create devices, items and other users. A Dallas or Addimat key can also be used. The code for the smartSCHANK can be created for a registration on the website www.Smartschank.de in the login area.
