Settings of the MCP

From the Systemtab, select the program group System settings and then the call MCP settings.

Element / Switch Function / Description
Login always on client

To set a fixed client when logging on to the MCP, activate this option and select the required client.

Note that if you use this default setting, the Change client function is deactivated with the MCP.
Always start in full screen mode This setting ensures that the MCP always uses the entire screen for display (Maximize).
Restore deleted symbols

Used to reorganize the MCP symbols. If you press this button, all deleted symbols will be restored immediately.

There is also a repair mode with which you can carry out further service work.

Desktop Background

Hypersoft provides individual background images, which each user can select for his PC.

The current background image is saved beforehand and can berestored by selecting - reset -.

Administrators and Installers

In the MCP is a hidden area, the repair mode. This area may only be used on instructions from Hypersoft.

A double-click in the right area of the dialog unlocks this hidden area.

Element / Switch Function / Description
debug Activate only on instructions from Hypersoft. The debug mode also displays "less relevant" error messages that would otherwise be suppressed.
Debug with logging in LOG folder

Activate only on instructions from Hypersoft.

Note that saving in the LOG folder requires additional resources. Especially if the log files get bigger with time, the programs and especially the POS programs can become noticeably slower. An activated LOG must therefore be switched off again in good time. To draw attention to this fact, the activated mode is displayed in Hypersoft POS.

If debug mode is activated, this is displayed above the Clear, Next button.

A D indicates the "normal debug mode", and DLthat the debug mode is enabled with LOG function. Thus the support sees that something was activated here.

When you select the letters, information appears:

 
Reorganize Symbols Completely. Activate only on instructions from Hypersoft. The symbols of the MCP are reset to factory settings.
Export Symbol Database Activate only on instructions from Hypersoft. The symbol settings database is exported.
