TSEs in the device management

The technical safety devices (TSEs) have special properties that are displayed in the device management in the standard system. You must take account of the deviations in the standard.

Unfortunately TSEs have no warranty. When the TEs are activated, their functionality is checked. If activated TSE's are defective later on, they pick them up and get a replacement. The presentation of the warranty of non-capitalized TSE is not binding. With the more active, the warranty is equated with the date of sale. If a TSE is defective before or during activation, please contact your /VendorClosed Vendor is the name of your sales contact. The Vendor can be a Hypersoft reseller or one of its employees. If you order directly from Hypersoft, you will be assigned a vendor at Hypersoft. If you have any questions about your vendor, you can contact Hypersoft directly..

General procedure of a TSE integration

  1. TSEs are created by Hypersoft (like any other hardware) in the device management.
  2. The external visible serial number (like sticker or external code) is stored as serial number.
  3. The lifetime is 5 years at this point (and will be updated upon activation).
  4. On the Hypersoft Desktop System, the device management is queried via the TSE Readout button.
  5. During TSE activation, the external visible serial number is supplemented by a hash value of the internal relevant serial number of the TSE. The format is: TSE4711 4812 (4711= internal relevant SNR, 4812= external visible SRN).
  6. The difference between a delivered and activated TSE can henceforth be recognised by the extended preceding serial number.

  7. The real running time of the TSE is calculated or read out at the POS during activation and stored in the device management. The remaining term is shown as lifetime in months.
  8. From the time of TSE setup, the lifetime displayed in the portal is correct.

Notification of expiring TSE's is still pending, but will be submitted subsequently.
