Orderman serial number management

The Serial Number Management tab is used to assign your devices to the POS system. Additionally you can automate the login of the operators. See the new procedure: CLOU MOBILE for Orderman TSE and serial number...

Protect your POS system from unauthorized access by third-party mobile devices of the same design. If you have not set up a single serial number, there is no check! An external device can log on to your system and work in your system without these settings.

This can happen with similar systems from the neighborhood or be exploited wantonly by people who want to harm.

Details about the buttons and elements:

Element / Switch Function / Description
serial number

Enter the serial number of your DON or MAX. You will find the serial number inside the device when you remove the battery. From the serial number you enter here only the numbers - no letters.

You can also have the serial number entered automatically. Activate the check mark for Auto. and then turn on a device. Make the settings and save them. Activate Auto. again if you want to set up another device.

The attempted logon of non-shared devices is logged in a text file. The serial number of the unknown device is written into the DONFirewall.txt in the (C:)\Hypers-! directory.

Operator (list)

Select Forced logon at each restartso that the secret number of the operator is requested when the device is started for working with the device.

By selecting Use last login, you determine that a login by secret number is valid for the device until it is terminated with the cash register function Log off operator. A security prompt must be confirmed here.

By selecting an operator name, a device is permanently assigned to an operator. However, the operator must have a secret number in order to use this function.

Inform all operators on the CLOU-Mobile that they are responsible for switching off the device completely (and not only in standby mode) if you want to use this to log off. Otherwise it can happen that (un-) consciously a wrong login is used.

multiple use

Multiple use is a special solution for the use of multiple mobile systems.

cash register assignment

The CLOU-Mobile books under the cash register number of the subsystem or the cash register that controls it. Here you can select a different POS number for the corresponding device for special requirements.

Allows you to configure a mobile device to have its own items, prices, and all other settings of a subsystem. Set up a suitable subsystem for this.
