Old method: Additional language for items

This old method dates back to the time without multi-language support for the item master. Please do not use this method any more, but this one: Article data AI translation

For Webshop 1, YourAPP and, if applicable, eSolutions 3rd party connections, you can store an additional language for the item texts.

Description of the item in another language

In the item master, select any item and choose the Special Features section. Edit the special features and define a special feature with the name Bontext_english with type interface 1 and save these settings. (this is for the translation, just if you have the German version:)In the hereby available special feature Bontext_englisch you enter the English name of the item and save it.

Description of the item in another language

Select any item in the item master and choose the Description section for Webshop 1 or the App Descriptionsection for working with YourAPP.

Enter the description for German and English separated by a separation text "[english]". Example:

This is the German description.

[English]

This is the English description.

Headings of queries from the item master can only be used in German and are not supported in the webshop with this old method. Use the Article data AI translation method instead.
