Set up points of sale

Assign the items to the points of sale and define the flow of goods for stock management. Thus, you assign the sales items for the cashier mode and also base items and products for the CONTROLLER. You can also use sort numbers or define different function numbers.

Remember that you can alternatively use this for simple structuresDirect item assignment and Tabular assignmentuse it in particularly complex structures for a better overview.

From the Controller Settings programme group, select the Manage Outlets programme:

Element / Switch Function / Description
site administration If you are working in the central client of a site management system, you can switch directly to another client in the top right-hand corner of the dialog.
from point of sale

Select the warehouse or point of sale here. Alternatively, you can display items without a storage location or recipes.

The assignment of recipes (that is, sales items) determines whether they can be sold in cashier mode. It often happens that the assignment of new items to the points of sale is forgotten and the items do not appear in cashier mode.

Optionally select sort number or function number. This gives you the possibility to assign the desired numbers within the right list.

Sorting number...

Sort numbers are used to sort items within points of sale. This may be necessary if you do not want to use sorting by item number. Sorting the items helps, for example, to record the stock.

Function number...

Function numbers are used, for example, to control dispensing systems. Instead of the function numbers in the item master, you can use the function numbers from the points of sale. This gives you the option of using different function numbers for each point of sale.

If no function number is entered in the point of sale, the system searches for a function number in the item master and uses it.

Interface...

This is used to assign an item from a vending machine to the product lines. By separating several assignments with a comma, items can be present several times in a machine at several product lines. E.g. Snickers on product line 1 & 2 in vending machine as input 1,2 in field interface.

Transfer and All

If you select an item in the left list, you can assign it to the right list with the button Transfer. You can also use the multiselection.

Use All to select all items that have not yet been assigned. Then you can choose Transfer to transfer all items to the right list.

Remove and All

When you select an item from the right list, the Remove and Allbuttons appear.

If you choose Remove, the currently selected item is removed from the right list and is no longer assigned.

If you select All and then Remove, all items are removed from the right list.

Search Below between the lists you can search for items. Click once on the list to be searched, enter the term as a full text search and click Search. The item containing the search term is highlighted.
Print

The list of points of sale can be printed from the list on the right.
