Fix value added tax and split
An item usually has a price and a VAT rate. However, it can happen that an item has more than one VAT rate, for example if it consists of two items. If you do not want to apply the higher tax rate as a lump sum, you can post an item with different value-added tax by setting a different value-added tax for part of the sales price.
You require a recipe item with ingredients as a starting point. Using the stock parts list, any partial amount of the sales price can be posted with tax rate 1. The item must therefore have a tax rate other than 1, otherwise the function would be ineffective.
In this example, we assume that the VAT rate 2 for out-of-home customers is 7 % VAT. is used. Example:

If you enter a higher total than the total price of the item as fixed values, the tax is calculated on the basis of your entries, that is, higher than the price of the item would require.
The field is to be used either as a fixed value for the VAT calculation or in queries as a difference price. Neither in the same line is possible.
To reset the field, remove the entered price, right-click and choose Free Price Difference.
