Completing operations

If transactions in a full-service restaurant take orders without being completed immediately with payment, then this transaction is called an order type transaction and New balance is used as the checkout function (or a macro that contains New balance). These processes can take up further orders as often as desired and are concluded at the end with a payment. So-called quick service or retail (retail) transactions are opened, booked and completed in one go.

If the Close button also contains a form, the completed transaction is assigned a form type, for example, Invoice. In Germany, you will be required to submit documents as of 01.01.2020, so that you always create and hand over a form or make it available via other means such as e-mail or archive access.

Depending on the state law, or of their own free will, they can initiate an automatic address inquiryinitiation for a certain amount with which the recipient's address can be recorded and output on the form.

Especially in a full-service restaurant, invoices are sometimes split between several customers, which is Split bills initiated with the checkout function.

With the cash register function form query, you are offered all available forms when closing.

If you use the cash register function Payment type query, you can split or select the payment types.
