Shop Marketing

Meta Description (SEO)

You can optionally specify a meta description for your shop. Google processes and uses this additional information to find your shop more quickly in a search query and to show users more detailed information about your shop. The meta description should be an understandable sentence with 110 - 120 characters. Longer texts are truncated in Google with a '...'. (Marked in colour in the example)

After you have told us your meta description, we will add it to your shop. Changes do not take effect immediately, but only with a shop update (approx. every 14 days).

Using the following (external) URL, you can see how Google will display your shop for a search query. https://blog.spotibo.com/serp-preview-tool/

Meta Pixel

You can optionally use META pixels to be able to evaluate the use of your users externally.

Please adapt your privacy policy with regard to optional tracking cookies if you use meta pixels.

Description of the manufacturer...

After you set up your meta pixel, it logs when someone takes an action on your website. Such actions are, for example, adding an item to the shopping cart. The meta pixel captures these actions (also called events), which you can then view in the Events Manager on your meta pixel's page. Here you can see the actions that your customers take. This information can be evaluated within Meta (Facebook). (With Meta Pixel, however, no aborted order process can be evaluated).

Creation and setup of meta pixel...

The following external link explains how to create and set up the meta pixel.

Submit your Pixel ID to Hypersoft...

Hypersoft needs your pixel ID in order to shop it in your shop.

Please inform our support or the respective contact person about your shop onboarding. In return, you must deposit your shop URL with META. E.G:

Demo.myhypersoftapp.de (Demo = name of your shop)

If you use an additional shop URL of your own, please still use only this URL assigned by Hypersoft at this point.

Meta Pixel Events...

Depending on your preference for evaluating user activity in Meta, various events are available which can be linked to specific actions in the shop. Events could be, for example, adding an item to the shopping cart, completing an order, or registering.

You can view a list and explanation of all events here on Facebook:

https://developers.facebook.com/docs/meta-pixel/reference/

Webshop 2.0 currently only supports standard events, not custom events.

The following events are already stored in the shop and can be evaluated by you:

  • AddPaymentInfo

  • AddToCart

  • CompleteRegistration

  • FindLocation

  • InitiateCheckout

  • Purchase

  • ViewContent

Optional cookies...

If you use meta pixels, you will be notified of the functional (payment) and optional (meta pixel) cookies when you call up the webshop. If the user clicks Accept, the meta pixel cookie is set and the corresponding information is collected. If the user clicks decline, only the functional cookies are set and NO meta pixels are activated. The Manage Cookies button can be used to view further information on the use of cookies.
