Report hardware failure
You can report a hardware defect to Hypersoft directly from the Hypersoft Suite, which ensures fast and clear processing. The processing status will also be displayed as for other messages that you can send to Hypersoft. A separate call is no longer necessary with this method, in fact the exchange works even faster this way and the integration of the exchange device is even more secure. To report a hardware defect, proceed as follows:
- In the System menu, start the Remote Commander programme.
- Select the affected device from the list of stations. If peripherals are defective, select one or the device to which the peripherals are connected.
- Press the button Report hardware failure. The following dialog appears:
In the upper area, select the options that best represent the hardware defect. If it is only a defect of a peripheral device, select it from the list by activating the check mark in front of it. You can enter information in the Free Text to Hypersoft field. When you send a message to Hypersoft, the message is transmitted to us and you receive a processing number as confirmation of receipt.
