Manual card entry at the terminal

You can configure Adyen card terminals to allow the manual capture of payments. This way you can book a payment if the card or card reader is defective.

In this context, pay attention to all safety aspects and, if necessary, train your staff to use such a function safely.

Make sure that the function has also been set up by Hypersoft in your Adyen portal. If necessary, note the setting of maximum amounts.

Set up manual map capture

You must generally activate the checkbox Allow payment with manual card data (Adyen only) in the cashless payment module under Interfaces if you want to use this function at the payment terminal. After activation (restart the system if necessary), the Card Payment Manual button is displayed in the Multi-Payment dialogue in addition to the Card Payment function:

On the POS keyboard of the Hypersoft POS system you can start this function manually by pressing the POS function Payment type: Card payment manually to start a corresponding operation.

Select stations for use...

The settings in the Configure cashless payment terminals section are made per station, so you can determine which POS terminal should support this function. If the switch is not activated for a station, the operator receives the message: This function is not supported here.
