Tab Overview

In the Overview tab you can see which programs are started on the respective station. You also receive a status as to whether the programs are running. You can also start the Hypersoft Suite setup program on the station or restart the operating system.

 

Start Remote Commander from the System program group. The Overview tab is opened automatically.

Element / Switch Function / Description
firewall mode You can use the firewall mode to avoid transmission problems if a firewall blocks the transmission of the program.
Overview List In the list, you see the programs in the order in which they are executed. The Status column indicates whether the program is currently running. The mode is indicated by the selection made when configuring the programs. The time of starting the programs is displayed under Date/Time.
Update Status The system information is read in again with this.
system information The system information of the respective station can be used by Hypersoft Support.
Start program Starts the selected program.
Stop program Exits the selected program.
PC Wake On Lan Starts the switched off computer of the selected station.
Shut down PC Turns off the computer of the selected station.
Start all programs

This starts all programs configured for start of the selected station on the station.

The copying of all programs and Hypersoft system files from the server to the POS station is also repeated.

Stop all programs This terminates all programs configured for start of the selected station on the station.
Start Setup

Initiates the start of the current service pack (or setup) on the selected station. In this mode, the setup is executed invisibly on the station. The following message is displayed on the station:

At the same time, the Remote Commander provides you with information about the history:

Restart PC Causes the station's operating system to restart.
Report hardware failure

This allows you to report a hardware defect. This part of the program is used by our support staff or under their supervision. Further information can be found in the topic Report hardware failure.
