Employee Master Settings

When you set the employee master record, you can enter additional information. You can define input fields that are made available in your employee master record to collect information. You can specify groups to which employees can be assigned. These groups can be evaluated in the Report Manager and exported to employee lists. This allows you to customize the Employee Master Data Information tab page, since it can display exactly the elements that you require for information processing according to your requirements. To use the duty roster, you must fill in the Activities section.

In the programme group System Settings, select the programme Employee Master Settings:

In addition to the variables in different areas of the employee master, the two tabs Free fields and Groupings influence the structure of the employee master.

With New the entry of a variable is enabled and with Save the entry is completed.

hourly wages

and

Theoretical hourly wages

Select the HourlyWages tab to enter terms for groups for hourly wages. For example Minijob and permanent SK I (tax class 1).

Then switch to the Theoretical Hourly Wage tab and enter a Gross Wage and a Theoretical Hourly Wage.

The advantage of this method is that if changes are made to the calculation of service charges, the values only have to be changed here in order to change all the values assigned to the employees.

The input of this information cannot be evaluated as theoretical hourly wage. This is managed in an extra field for each employee.

Absences

In the Absences tab, you enter variables that are used in the Vacation Planner program or in cashier mode with the Manage absences program.

Free fields

On the Free Fields tab, you can create elements that are displayed in the dialog. Each so-called main element can be one of four types: Available are:

  • Text elements (for text input)
  • Date elements (for date entries)
  • Combo elements (To select predefined possibilities)
  • Number elements (for entering numbers)

First a main element is defined and then variables are assigned to it depending on the field type.

The combo element offers a selection that you must define beforehand as so-called members from the main element. Select + in front of main element and then select the combo element whose members you want to edit. Then select New entry and enter a description.
