Cancel Tickets

Location Cancel Tickets

This is about location tickets where the method is different from eSolution tickets. If a location ticket needs to be cancelled, use the checkout function Return (Ticket). A dialog will then appear asking you to scan the ticket. The ticket is thus removed from the turnover and the operator is relieved of the turnover.

Location Ticket has already been used...

If the ticket has already been used for access, the ticket can no longer be cancelled. An operator with manager status must first read in the ticket with return ticket. This allows you to reset the status of the ticket to Ticket unused.

After this process, the ticket can be cancelled (even by operators without manager status) by calling the Return (Ticket) function again. However, it can also be used again for access.

Cancel eSolution Ticket

If eSolution tickets are to be cancelled, then you must have the invoice of the ticket sale. This invoice allows you to process the transaction using the standard POS system methods. The tickets to be cancelled are then cancelled in the process and the process is completed again without them. The system then reports these tickets as inactive in the online database. Admission will then be refused with such tickets.

Please note that there is no check for access when cancelling eSolution tickets. So you can also cancel eSolution tickets that have already been used for access.

Evaluation of cancelled eSolution tickets...

Cancelled eSolution tickets are listed in all "around the operator" reports at the POS and in the Report Manager. Here with the clear example of the Report Manager (block below):
