The CashCONTROLLER (CC) is a system for accepting and withdrawing cash during sales transactions in stationary food and retail stores, restaurants and in ticketing.
CashCONTROLLER allows cash receipts and change payments to be made without staff, customers or unauthorised persons having access to the total cash balance of the respective point of sale before, after or during the transaction. To ensure this, the CashCONTROLLER has technical equipment for the acceptance and payment of cash in the form of coins and banknotes. Coins are accepted in bulk via a coin checking system and checked for authenticity and value. After positive testing, the coins are fed into a storage container, from which they can be ejected again at high speed, if required, sorted and isolated. Banknotes are also checked for authenticity and value and, after a positive check, are fed into such a storage system. In contrast to the coins, however, these cannot be processed in bulk, but must be fed to and removed from the system individually. The coin processing system is hereinafter referred to as SMART Coin System (SCS) and the banknote processing system is hereinafter referred to as SMART Payout (SP). Once the CashCONTROLLER has accepted the coins or banknotes, the deposited cash, together with the total cash held at the relevant point of sale, is stored in a closed system with a certain level of security against unauthorised access. The CashCONTROLLER works in conjunction with and is controlled by the Hypersoft POS system.
