Fingerprint Reader for employee recognition
Fingerprinting is a biometric recognition method that can identify people by the contours of their fingerprints. This information can then be used in the Hypersoft // system to recognise employees for time recording or to allow them access to the MCP.

Installation instructions for Digital Persona readers
The fingerprint reader is simply connected to a Windows PC and the installation of the drivers is automatically controlled by Windows. Please follow any instructions that may appear. The unit must then be integrated into the Hypersoft // system as follows:
Select the Digital Persona device in the time recording settings. When switching to new models, all existing fingerprints must be re-enrolled as Digital Persona uses different data.
- Check for old versions of Griaule and FS80 drivers. URGENT uninstall if available ( Griaule USB driver, Futronic FS80 ).
- Install the Digital Persona SDK from the Addon directory (depending on the Windows 64 or 32 bit version).
- Install the Fingerprint_SDK_2009_Installer from the Addon directory - without serial number. (in the "FingerCapUSB" directory)
- MCP Time Recording Settings Select Digital Persona.
If you are still using older models, please note that you cannot use different devices in mixed operation under any circumstances.
Each fingerprint reader requires a Hypersoft UX Time and Attendance Biometrics licence.
