Customer display and customer monitor

You can connect a customer display or a customer monitor to your cash registers. These can be customer displays integrated in the cash registers or external devices. A basic distinction is made between customer displays (digital displays) and customer monitors on a screen basis. Both can be used with your POS system as long as they are technically compatible. At the Hypersoft POS both are supported, at the mPOS Tablet the customer monitor.

For the customer monitor, this applies to all models compatible with your graphics card (of the POS terminal) and our resolutions. For customer ads, we offer a list of supported devices that are also compatible with many customer ads not listed. If the entry does not match your device name, you can simply try it out or change the customer display to a different communication type.

A special script language in the Hypersoft Suite is available for setting up the customer display and creating appealing animations. The setup and multimedia use of the customer screen is provided by an integrated layout program.

To set up one of the two variants, go to the station details in the register Peripherals.

In the layout area, basic settings for both variants are made and the format and animations for the customer display are set. From there, you can also call the layout program for the customer monitor.

Set up customer display

For general activation, you must go to the Peripherals tab in the station settings at the corresponding POS terminals:

Here you can set whether you have a customer display as a digital display or monitor. In addition, settings can be made for multi-monitor operation.
