Program calls in cashier mode
Variant: Program Calls with Execute
You can start other programs directly from the cash register program. For this there are special cash register functions which are started with Execute. Overview of commands: Execute 1 and 2
If you know the numbers of the calls, you can enter them and press Execute. Alternatively, you can assign the numbers to a key together with the Execute as macro function.
Another variant is Manageprogram calls, which allows you to start any program from the cashier mode. This is used, for example, for Sonos (c) and other music programs. You can also use call parameters to use certain functions.
You start the programme from the programme group POS Settings with the symbol Programme calls:
Element / Switch | Function / Description |
---|---|
number |
You have the calls with the numbers 800 to 819 at your disposal. Select a free call. The respective line - and thus the respective program - can be called up in cashier mode with the selected number and the cash register function Execute. Further documentation: Execute 1 and 2 |
all |
If you activate the All option, employees without manager status can also start the calls from cashier mode. Without this setting, only operators with manager status can execute the command. |
Name of the program | Enter a name so that you can assign the program call. |
File path of the program |
Use the button (at the end of the command line) to select the program you want to start or enter the program name and path manually. You can also use call parameters in addition to the command line. Please note that you cannot start another POS session with this. You can only call programs and not their files. |
