mPOS Simple Order

The Simple Order function enables the operator to place an order as quickly as possible. The operator's Simplebutton is arranged in the lower right corner of the display in such a way that it can even be operated with one hand. Subsequently booked items can later be assigned to the corresponding tables or transactiones. Since the operator is responsible for the bookings, he can use them as required. In practice, an operator can, for example, book items on demand even if he only has one hand free. If, for example, a football club appears, it can already tap 10 beers. When guests order at the bar while waiting for a free table, etc...

Simple Order opens a virtual table number defined in the settings which is unique together with the operator number. Thus the setting 90000 and an internal unique record number, for example 15, results in the Simple Order table number 90015. This number is also displayed on the Simple button when the function is used.

Simple Order and Smart Swap

The Simple Order always uses the last used POS number / point of sale that was previously used by a transaction (table or customer).

Examples:

  • You open table 10, which is bound to "cash register 1/ sales counter" by Smart Swap. If you then open the Simple Order, you can also use it with "Checkout 1/ VKS Counter".

  • Open table 1010, which is bound to "cash desk 5/ VKS outside" by Smart Swap.

  • If you then open the Simple Order, it is also displayed with "Kasse 5/ VKS Außen".

  • If you open a Simple Order as the first action on the CLOU Mobile, it uses the settings of the parent station.

  • However, you can also activate a Smart Swap for the Simple Order by setting up the transaction number that can be set in the CLOU Mobile for the Simple Order to match the Smart Swap.
