Hypersoft Pay Payout Report

This will provide you with a fee overview, a so-called Settlement Details Report. In contrast to the accounting report (see there also further details for access), in this report on your payout details you receive individual information on each transfer that was paid out to you by Adyen.

If you want to generate a disbursement report for a larger or specific period of time and not only for individual disbursements, please refer to our documentation Hypersoft Pay Summarised Disbursement Report / Aggregate Settlement Detail Report.

Contents of the Disbursement Report

  • Gross/net settlement amount for bookings - Which transactions were paid out and in what amount

  • Refunds.

  • chargebacks (if any).

  • Total fees

  • Deposit corrections (Deposit)

  • Total amount billed.

Access to the report...

To do this, you need the IF70 Hypersoft Pay licence and training as described at Licensing Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen Portal.

Log in to the Essential Portal: https://essentials-live.adyen.com/

Here you can select the language German at the bottom left if you prefer. At Finance / Settlement Details you can now download the report on your settlement details based on the individual payouts from Adyen to your account.

Now download the respective Settlement Detail Report with the respective batch number as .XLS_GEN by clicking on the file name. For reconciliation purposes, the respective batch number is also indicated on your transfer.

If in the past your settlement detail reports were generated in a different data format such as CSV. To begin with, change the setting to Automatic generation as "XLS_GEN (Microsoft Excel)":

To open past Settlement Detail Reports generated as CSV files as Excel in XLS_GEN format, please select Create Report (top right) and then select your batch number ( settlement number) and the file type .XLS_GEN. Your report will then be generated and you can open it in Excel. If you later prefer a different file type, you can change it again at any time.

If you have any further questions, take a look at the documentation of our partner Adyen, which you can easily view in German in the Chrome browser using the Google translation plug-in. Here is a detailed description of how the report is structured and how a download can be carried out: https://docs.adyen.com/reporting/settlement-detail-report

Adjustments / Changes in the Sales to Payout / Payouts Report in the Hypersoft Pay Portal

Adyen pays out to you particularly quickly and with as few risk surcharges as possible. This handling causes the following effects:

The report balance can evaluate a negative amount. The reason why the balance sometimes shows a relatively large minus is due to the algorithm used to calculate the report.

In addition to chargebacks and refunds, this report also shows Adyen's Receivables Pending. Outstanding receivables consist of funds that have been paid to you but for which Adyen itself has not yet received the funds from the acquirers or /SchemeClosed The schemes (pronounced Skiem) are the respective card systems of the holders, such as VISA or Mastercard. Scheme fees are the fees that the credit card brands receive. Owners. Almost always, Adyen then actually receives these funds, whereupon the deficit is made up again. However, until the actual settlement, this difference is considered by Adyen as a "pre-financed amount", which is basically the same as Sales Day Payout (T+2) (pre-financing of payouts for funds that Adyen knows they have received but have not yet received).

Currently, this pre-funded amount is displayed in your Payable Overview Report. If you work with payment methods that take longer to settle with Adyen than to settle with you (e.g. AMEX), this report becomes unreliable. However, Adyen wants to maintain the high payout speed and low risk premiums and is therefore already working on creating a new dashboard in which this problem will be solved.

Conclusion: The information displayed in the report is not wrong, but may not be helpful to you. Adyen apologises if this causes you any inconvenience. Please do not be alarmed by a negative amount.

Example report for accounting reports

For the accounting reports Adyen has built a special documentation page where you can download the most common Excel reports which we also explain in this documentation. These are usually not even necessary, but only serve to ensure full transparency and control:
