Set up dispensing areas
Use this to set up the dispensing system connection correctly, even for several areasDispensing systems Set up areas (only one area is used in the standard). A dispensing system interface can provide maximum performance for you through optimal planning and settings. Following these settings, you must configure the dispensing system for each cash register station in the station details.
Start the program Stations from the program group System settings. In the upper button bar, select Dispensingsystem .
Element / Switch | Function / Description |
---|---|
Adjusting the range of dispensing systems | Select one of ten possible areas. The areas are set up in the dispensing system and enable you to make different settings for the dispensing system interface within a client. |
Virtual operator number for table lock (operator offset) |
If the operator (at the pay station) has not been assigned a number in the Operator Permissions in the dispensing system, the dispensing system interface will add a virtual operator number to the booking so that the dispensing system can work. Further documentation: Number of bar and waiter-related credit |
Virtual table number offset for table 0 |
An offset number can be set here for bookings at the dispensing system that are created without table numbers. Further documentation: The problem with the table lock |
Virtual team number Offset |
Used to synchronize team numbers between the POS system and the dispensing system. Further documentation: The team function in practice |
Do not use event level |
If you do not want the Event Manager's price level switching to be taken into account when importing postings from the dispensing system, activate the Do not useevent level option. The standard price level or the price level assigned to the POS station is then used. |
Activate table lock | The Activate table lock function means that a table within the dispensing system can only be processed by the operator who is responsible for the transaction. |
Print Bonorder |
Postings that are triggered at the dispensing system thus create an order receipt. Diss, for example, is practical when using smartSCHANK as an input device. |
Deactivate interface (banquet mode) |
Deactivates the dispensing system interface in special situations, such as a banquet or to repost items. However, we strongly recommend that you have the POS system log all postings and make congruent postings and price settings accordingly. |
Info items with 0,00 price book directly |
With this setting, items with a sales price of 0.00 and the Info Items property are posted directly to the journal and not to a transaction. Often, at the dispenser the item foam button (to obtain a shot of beer foam) is set up, which otherwise appears on the operations from which the operators transfer items. Although info items can be suppressed without price on invoices, they are not even displayed to the operator. |
Book all items directly |
You can use this function to ensure that all postings from the dispensing system are posted directly to the journal and not to tables that have to be closed first. This is practical if the dispensing system is not used in the service at the guest and the dispensing interface only requires the item bookings in the journal. |
Debit-side |
Activate Debit side to be able to receive bookings from the dispensing system in the POS system. Otherwise, this direction of communication is disabled. For debit-side bookings, a main sales point must also be assigned to each individual cash register station in the station details. Further documentation: |
Vendor | Activate Vendorto send postings from the POS system as credits to the dispensing system. Otherwise, this direction of communication is disabled. |
cancellation voucher | You use this setting to specify that a reversal receipt can be printed in the event of a reversal of an item that was originally booked via the dispensing system. |
team function | Activates the support of the team function in the dispensing system interface. |
Table number for over-dispensing under-dispensing |
Specifies the table number to which overdraft and underdraft are posted. Further documentation: Overdraft and Underdraft |
Locking the table | This option can automatically close the table defined in the field for over/underdispensing, so that the bookings are entered into the cash journal. The postings are printed on the closing form. |
Closure form | Here you can select a form, on which the over and under tap is printed with the conclusion of the dispensing system. This is only done if the Complete table option is activated. |
bottomank on |
Unterschank bookings will be sent to the cashier as a cancellation at the end of the day. These cancellations can be booked either as Zapfstorno with price or Zapfstorno without price. The price of the dispensing reversal relieves the operator of the burden of the value of item bookings. Zapfstorno without price books the credits as cancellations, but the operator owes the money in settlement. In both cases, the merchandise is credited again. Cancellations of the type Zapfstorno are an independent type that cannot be processed like cancellation requests. |
Overank on |
Overdraught bookings are transferred to the cash register at day-end closing. It is usual to allocate these postings to a reason for loss since the product was consumed. Alternatively, you can use a price level so that the bookings increase the operator's sales. If you do not assign a price level or a loss, the excess bookings will be discarded. Stock management is therefore not addressed either. |
