Introduction to the documentation
Best practice: Using the documentation
Hypersoft is a powerful, detailed system - and this is precisely where its greatest strengths lie. If you want to fully utilise the possibilities, you not only need answers to specific questions, but also an understanding of the many functions that you may not yet know about, but which make a huge difference in everyday life. The Hypersoft documentation accompanies you like a digital compass:
It not only shows you where something is, but above all how you can achieve better results faster.
Two paths that work together
In the documentation you will find both:
-
Standard answers - when you need a clear solution quickly,
-
Best practices - if you want to optimise processes or discover new potential.
Both areas are valuable. The trick is to know when to use which route.
How to work efficiently with Hypersoft documentation
1. Don't just look for what you already know
Many users only search for a term that they already have in mind.
That's good - but it limits the view.
The real efficiency gains often come from functions that have not even been thought of yet.
It is therefore worth browsing through the best practice chapters on a regular basis.
2. Using best practices as inspiration
Our best practices show tried and tested procedures from practice:
strategic, efficient, with high impact.
They help you to assess which functions could be relevant for your company -
and which give you a competitive edge.
3. Work systematically instead of randomly
The documentation is structured in such a way that you can record topics in full.
Use cross-references, topic trees and links.
In this way, individual answers are transformed into a stable understanding of the overall system.
4. From reading directly into action
Almost every section contains direct recommendations or concrete steps.
After reading, take a few minutes to test a function briefly - this creates real routines that simplify everyday life.
Why this approach is worthwhile
If you "only use" Hypersoft, you are only utilising part of the possibilities. However, those who understand Hypersoft work more efficiently, make more informed decisions and benefit in the long term from a consistently digitalised operating structure. The documentation is your most important tool for this. It not only provides you with answers - it shows you ways, tells you why something makes sense and thus helps you to work more successfully in the long term.
Best practice to find topics in the documentation
The quickest way to find things is to use the text search in the top right-hand corner (e.g. tip cashless):
If you don't get the expected result right away, try other terms or switch between singular and plural.
Special topics that concern several programmes are displayed in separate folders that are automatically displayed on the left on large screens. On the smartphone there is a "hamburger menu" for this purpose:

Special text passages
Some text passages have special functions in addition to the normal explanation. We initiate these with appropriate symbols OR coloured backgrounds.
Example of texts that have a function as a tip or advice...
Example of text passages highlighted in green.
Formatting for information that we mark as a good tip on the current topic. This is often a matter of facilitating work or improving efficiency.
Example of texts that can be important or are considered indicative, depending on the use...
Example of text passages with a yellow background.
Formatting for passages that give additional information. For example, for things that are related to the topic, but are not necessarily the reason why you are reading this chapter.
Example of texts that have a warning function...
Example of text passages highlighted in red.
This formatting marks important things and warnings related to the current topic. You should always read the text of the Attention symbol if you intend to work with the functions of the current document.
Project work subject to planning for Hypersoft specialists...
The Hypersoft Suite is a standard program that is used in various configurations. Some of the components such as programmes and hardware and software connections are described in the documentation as project work requiring planning. The use of these functions must be agreed with Hypersoft. You will find the following text there:
Note: Project work subject to planning
This is an area that requires detailed project planning.
The Hypersoft system is a flexible standard solution that can be used in a variety of configurations. The correct implementation of the functions described here requires specialist expertise and a clear comparison of your requirements and expectations.
Please note that not all Hypersoft employees or partners are trained to the same extent in each of these labelled subject areas.
For this reason, we characterise certain content as "project work requiring planning". We would like to ensure that you contact your Hypersoft sales partner or Hypersoft Support at an early stage in order to carry out the necessary planning and coordination.
This structured approach enables us to carefully analyse your requirements and implement them in a targeted manner.
