Create ticket item
All functions of the Hypersoft Suite are available to you for setting up ticket items. The item can also be used for merchandise management. The ticket item can contain queries and be supplemented with free attachments.
However, no ticket will be produced if a ticket item is part of a forced query whose item itself has not been set up for ticket printing ( this also applies to the Free Attachment function).
Before you can create a ticket item, you must create a folder group that will be assigned to the Boca printer.
This order group is then assigned to the ticket item. In the item master, a ticket item is created from any item (base item, recipe or product) if the order group assigned to the Boca printer is assigned to it.
The ticket type determines the function of the ticket. There is a choice to be made:
- access ticket
- Bonus ticket without access
- Item ticket without access
- replacement ticket
Ticket Factor = Number of persons who may enter with a ticket.
If you want the item to use a special layout (and not the default layout), you can assign the required ticket layout to the order group on the Cash Register Settings tab of the item master.
Ticket types: season ticket (unlimited admission), advance ticket (limited admission)...
The direct jump (see mouse pointer) takes you to the Manage Ticket Types dialog:
Element / Switch | Function / Description |
---|---|
Designation Ticket type |
50 ticket types can be freely set. |
validity |
The validity of a ticket is valid in number of days from the first admission. A 1 here means 1 day, i.e. the day of access. |
Age from to |
specifies the age for which the ticket should be valid. When selling tickets assigned to customers, the system can decide on the basis of the birthday whether the ticket can be used according to the age range. |
Personalize at the point of sale |
For sales of this type, a customer must be queried from the customer master. This allows the permissible age to be checked compulsively. Further documentation: Sell tickets |
Boca printer |
Specialised ticket printer for high throughput and high availability. Further documentation: Using the BOCA printer |
Use DIN A4 printer |
Tickets are not printed by Boca, but are sent to a standard A4 printer so that photos etc. can be printed. |
thermal printer |
This allows you to create ticket codes in the form of a QR code on thermal paper. The layout for the printout is fixed and contains the ticket name, the ticket number as text, the ticket number as a QR code and optionally, if a validity date has been set, this date below the QR code:
A thermal printer must be stored for each station in the report settings; this is then used for the tickets:
|
Validity / days in connection with validity date...
The optional expiry date, which can be entered at the POS, is taken into account. Example: Sale of a Termo printer ticket on 17 July 2024 with a validity date of 24 December 2024 is therefore valid until 25 December 2024 and not until 18 July 2024 if days of 1 are stored.
