Multi-Object transaction
The Hypersoft system can be set up so that Multi-Object transaction can use more than one customer, room, employee or even a combination of these within a transaction. Without this setting, the system operates with a maximum of one customer, one hotel guest or one employee per transaction.
With a Multi-Object transaction , multiple customers can be processed at one table and each can have their own discount level or price level. If you have a hotel business with PMS integration from Hypersoft, several guests from different rooms can be seated at the same table and you can book as many rooms as you like afterwards.
The so-called objects (customer, room, etc.) are always booked to places. If you do not specify a seat number, the POS system automatically assigns the next free seat.
Activate Multi-Object transactions
The ability of the system to act with Multi-Object transaction is activated with the global switch Multi-Object transactions Operations.
The switch should only be activated or deactivated when no processes are open in the system.
If you are working with CLOU MOBILE for Orderman, you cannot activate this option.
Orderman Rejection of the Multi-Object transaction ...
The new operation handling is not supported by Orderman. If the switch is nevertheless activated, the following message appears on all Orderman when logging in:
Multi-Object information at transaction closure
The information of individual objects is only saved in the process until the process is completed and with the completion of a process only the object involved in the completion is saved. In this way, you have the object information in the respective transaction for each transaction (as in the standard without Multi-Object transactions). If, for example, five objects are posted in one transaction, but only two pay (one after the other with splitting) everything, the two split transactions remain with the respective payer and the three other objects are discarded for and with the closing. See also Multi-Object simple transaction closure.
Multi-object operations during automatic operation closure...
The Hypersoft system can be set up with Automate close so that transactions are automatically closed according to your specifications at the end of the day, depending on their type. If this concerns multi-object transactions, the object that was used with the first booking is saved with the conclusion, all other objects are discarded as described above.
