categories are similar to folders, which can contain either items or other folders. Their designations should represent the content as accurately as possible. You are free to define the descriptions and structure within the options described. The categories are to be used globally for the entire Hypersoft Suite, mainly for:
- POS
- mPOS
- CLOU-MOBILE for Windows and Orderman
- Controller Stock Management
- Back Office Suite/ Reporting
- Webshop and eSolutions interface
- evaluations
The function is therefore a grouping of items for better work at the POS system and for evaluation in reporting.
To ensure that booking, finding and evaluating articles is not too statically linked, there are several ways for you to set up exceptions. For example, you can assign items to other commodity groups to find them there too, but their evaluations remain assigned to the original commodity group. You can also split the turnover of an item (in these cases it is mostly combination offers) between several commodity groups and finally you can even split out several VAT rates from one item - but more on that later.
