Use Personnel Processes
You can allow employees to post to their own activities. These employee transactions are intended for the employee's own needs and can be specifically linked to price levels, discounts and losses via the settings in the employee master. Each staff member has the option of having a single personnel procedure open.
The behavior is largely identical to customer processes or tables. For example, if you press the personnel number without entering a personnel number in advance, all personnel operations are displayed. Personnel processes for which the operator is responsible are highlighted in yellow. If the operator has access to all personnel processes, the processes of other operators are displayed in red.
Employees can use employee cards to identify themselves at the Hypersoft POS. These can be transponder cards or magnetic cards. If you use a transponder card for employees, the employee receives a selection dialog in which he can choose between the following:
- Register as cashier operator
- Post to own employee operation
- Record time
If you use magnetic cards, they are encoded for one of the functions:
- Register as cashier operator
- Post to own employee operation
Automatic locking of personnel processes
If you would like your employees to settle their own transactions on a daily basis, you can optionally have the personnel transactions that have not been settled automatically settled and at the same time have the employees blocked for further personnel transactions. This is a performance of the closing automation.
You can make this setting in the Automate daily closing program. If an employee then tries to open his or her own employee operation, he or she receives a rejection message informing him or her of the lock. To unlock the employee operation, an operator with manager status opens the employee operation and thus removes the lock:
Please note that the removal of the employee lock from this procedure also removes any existing manual locks from the employee master record.
