General problems with push or call number...

In general, the push should be more secure; of course, a user may overhear the call, be distracted, or have other reasons for not heeding a DigiPager call that was actually successfully delivered. The same applies to SMS delivery, but here there are also errors in the manual entry of the telephone number, because not all incorrectly entered telephone numbers are then recognisable for the system.

So you are supposed to establish a workflow at the goods issue / goods collection that enables you to "deliver" the orders to the customers if they obviously do not respond. In addition to a collection monitor, this can be a manual monitoring of uncollected orders.

Notification of call problems...

In the CloudBOX Live Connector, you can activate error handling in the ePing Fall-Back in case of error area in the an error. If the system can detect that the ePing could not be delivered, you can display a message on the POS system or print it out on the printer. A non-delivery printout directly on the passport is a safe way to inform your staff.

The symbol implies that someone has to take the order to the guest. The printout is made irrespective of whether an invalid number has been stored or the number cannot be reached at the moment. The additional information is used to find the user. The timeout for the delivery attempt of a browser push message and ePing SMS is 60 seconds. If no positive delivery has been confirmed by then, the system assumes that the delivery has failed.

If you communicate to your guests that only a part of the orders will be waited for and, for example, drinks will be ready for pick-up "immediately", you can set this by setting items for which there should be no notifications without preparation times. Then you can activate the system switch Create DigiPager only for items with preparation time in the CloudBOX Live Connector. Make sure that your guests can understand the system and adapt the messages and texts accordingly.
