General procedure for the use of reservations

Google Reservation

Place your reservation offer free of charge at the first position in Google (usually this positioning is free for you). Please refer to the chapter Reservations with Google.

If you need additional access to tourists for whom you don't have your own marketing concept, you can expand to all common reservation platforms that are relevant in your region. Look for cheap mediation offers there (these are then usually per reservation, since these are distributed across all systems).

Call centre or restaurant phone?

Hypersoft Reservation or Aleno Integration can also ask for a call for advice when a certain number of seats is reached.

Please do not make the mistake of letting the phone ring in the guest room for all reservations. Most reservation requests come at the same time as the maximum capacity utilization of your business. These inquiries must be answered professionally and not in the daily rush with background noise. Also, do not answer the phone yourself in every situation. This is well meant by you, but for regular guests who "only" want to make a reservation, it is sometimes unpleasant to disturb them. If you're a hot place, you might reserve a special hotline for your VIPs - but it has to work just as securely as a digital reservation.

The best way to achieve professional handling is to use a call centre that has access to the reservation system. It is sufficient to have your own one-person call centre or, depending on your needs, you can choose a professional call centre, for example 24/7 (Hypersoft will be happy to put you in touch with our provider if required).

With a little guidance you determine exactly what and how your call centre can answer and for what, if any, a callback will be made. A small additional offer for upsellings and to avoid no shows should be best possible.
