Dispensing interface in cashier mode

The booking of dispensing items at the POS or mPOS is done like any other item booking. The operator logs on and books the desired items. The dispensing system releases the items and the items can be issued. Debit-side postings from the dispensing system appear in the transactions according to your specifications.

You can display the interface program for connecting the dispensing system from cashier mode. The dispensing interface is preferably started with a subsystem by the Remote Commander and can be called from the task bar. To display the interface from the cashier mode, use a macro of the cashier function 7 7 + Execute. For this, the respective operator needs the manager status, so that the call can be controlled on the basis of this operator authorisation. The view is used to control the communication between the POS system and the dispensing system. In normal operation, the view is not needed:

Element / Switch	Function / Description
Exit	Ends the view and communication to the dispensing system! The cashier mode or subsystem automatically restarts the program when the interface is set up.
Delete credits	Performs a daily closing at the dispensing system. Therefore, make sure that you do not allow unauthorised persons to access the view of the dispensing interface.
fade	Exit the view using the Hidebutton . The program continues to run in the background.
minutes	In interface with Gruber dispensing systems, you can display a communication protocol.
Start test	Starts the comparison of the function numbers. Further documentation: Dispensing systems Function number
Interval for communication	With the slider you can determine the interval at which the interface is queried. Information on the dispensing system is sent immediately (if the booking has been completed).

Protocol of the dispensing system interface

The type of communication is displayed as a symbol. The selection of the symbols allows you to set the view to the desired types. In the Acknowledgement column, any information confirmed by the other side is marked with OK.

Element / Switch	Function / Description
date operator Items	Select the date (maximum 90 days retroactive). You can restrict the information to operators or specific items.
Refresh view	The view is not updated any further during display. Activate this option if you wish.
Symbol $image\help0001.gif$	Debit-side posting: Items that were posted to the dispensing installation.
Symbol $image\help0002.gif$	A loan from the dispensing installation was posted (and thus consumed there).
Symbol $image\help0003.gif$	Activate table lock.
Symbol	Table lock is lifted again.
Symbol $image\help0004.gif$	Cancellation of an item. The number of possible cancellations is displayed in brackets in the Acknowledgement column. If a cancellation is sent from the POS system, but the item has already been consumed, the cancellation is no longer possible in the dispensing system. This information is currently only evaluated here.
Symbol $image\help0005.gif$	This is a loan that was posted at the cash desk.
Symbol $image\help0006.gif$	External orders or postings that are generated by the day-end closing ( deletecredits ).
Symbol $image\help0007.gif$	Postings that are deleted directly at the dispensing system.
