Devices RMA Management

In the RMA administration it is possible to get an overview of all open RMA processes. The core information is displayed in tabular form.

When you select a line, the detail dialog box is displayed. The list can be filtered by different types, service partners or the respective RMA status using the selection options (top left). Alternatively, you can search the entire contents of the table.

Initiate RMA procedure

The Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is an identification number assigned by the supplier for the return of goods.

In the device details dialog you can start an RMA process at Hypersoft to obtain a replacement device. Select Initiate RMA procedure to receive a dialogue with contact details (this is also possible via the three-point menu).

ATTENTION: Editing this user data updates the user data stored in the portal.

If such a procedure has been initiated, the current status can be seen via the unit detail dialogue and a list of all RMA procedures is created.

service

Service displays information for devices that require service, such as battery replacement, fan replacement, or cleaning. If a service is due, please contact the responsible service partner.

Delete device

If a device is no longer in possession or stock, this can be deleted. For Hypersoft devices, Hypersoft Support will also check this as a "request for deletion" before actually deleting the device.

Service Partner

The handling of a device by a service partner is largely the same as the handling of a Hypersoft device.

If the corresponding authorization for editing the device is available, the purchase date and the serial number can also be stored here. In addition, the user-defined fields defined in the master item can be edited and set here.
