Components View Recipe
Recipe items have a table which is accessible via the register Components and Queries.
Following this chapter, please also note the more detailed knowledge in the chapter Sub-queries and sub-components.
The inserted base item fills a column and waits for you to specify the quantity to be used for the recipe item. Each time the item is posted, the theoretical inventory is reduced by the part stored here. The columns Quantity, MeasuredQuantity , Volume and Percent represent alternatives. The quantity is the easiest and always works in standard. If you have stored more information on the quantities in the Stock Management tab of the base item, the other values are filled in automatically.
The average purchase price (DEK) is calculated on the basis of the components: Comments on the use of goods and changes...
The Group column is used for the posting wizard: Component exchange with groups
Please note that changes to units and quantities in the Stock Management tab can have an unintended effect on recipes. For example, if you make a 0.7 litre bottle that you divide into 70 portions into a 1 litre bottle that you divide into 50 portions, you can be sure that the recipe will have to be adjusted. Therefore, please check your recipes if you change the basic items involved.
More information on units and quantities can be found here: Units general
In the view control you can define conditions when components and queries apply.
Copying and Replacing Components
Even complex component lists can easily be copied from one item to another. For this purpose you can reach a small menu via a small quick start button. If you want to replace the list at the destination, you can first delete components there and then choose Insert components.
Online Order texts can also be copied and pasted via the menu in the recipe entry. When copying recipes, the online order headings are also copied.
